Training and Background

Adrian served his apprenticeship with Michael Hedgecoe Antique Furniture Restoration, Surrey, which is considered to be one of the finest workshops in the south of England.

During his apprenticeship, Adrian worked for many clients. This included work on numerous pieces of furniture, many of them being extremely fine French and Georgian pieces.

Adrian's training consisted of three years working with a Master Craftsman—Richard Lloyd—as a cabinet maker, followed by two more years as an improver and restorer. Adrian is a qualified cabinet maker and furniture restorer, having trained at both the West Dean College in Sussex and Bruce Luckhurst Antique Furniture Restoration and Conservation School in Bethersden, Kent.
